Initial Oral Examination
Your initial oral examination includes a visual examination, charting, periodontal probing, diagnosis and treatment recommendations. We will also take x-rays, which includes the panoramic x-ray for proper diagnosis of the anterior (front) and posterior (back) teeth as well as the bite-wing x-ray series for proper diagnosis of proximal decay of posterior teeth.

Dental Implants
We will work with an implant specialist to create an implant for a missing single tooth, missing multiple teeth, or replace a removable appliance.

Teeth Bleaching
Our state-of-the-art, in-office Power Bleaching system will make your teeth whiter in less than 1.5 hours. Another option is our home bleaching system you take with you for results in 2 weeks. You can also consider a combination program of both systems for optimal, long-term results.

Crowns and Veneers
You can have a new smile with all-porcelain crowns (empressed material) on the anterior teeth. For the posterior, we use porcelain or gold fused to metal.

Fillings: Resin
Tooth-colored filings that are light cured to match your teeth. Amalgam: Silver-colored fillings, more durable material.

Root Canals
We perform root canals on all teeth.

Periodontal Treatment
You should have a standard cleaning at least twice a year. A periodontal treatment includes an Adult Prophy (basic cleaning). If it has been over a year since your last cleaning, possible treatment will include either Periodontal Scaling (deeper) or Root Planning and Scaling (requires anesthetic).

Mouth Guards
Whether you are an athlete or casual sports participant, you should wear a mouth guard to protect your teeth. If you grind your teeth while you sleep, a bite guard will help reduce symptoms of TMJ. We custom make mouth guards in both soft and hard materials.

Removable Dental Prosthesis
For missing teeth, we can make dentures or removable partials for you.

Our Dentists

Dr. Jeff DiMariano
Dr. DiMariano earned his D.D.S. from University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 1981, graduating with honors. He moved to Sacramento to begin practicing and continued intensive studies in orthodontics, building a family practice that also provides braces, Invisalign and TMJ treatment.

He is extremely passionate about all aspects of dentistry and strives to stay current on new techniques and technology. He balances his continuing education to provide the best dentistry possible for his patients. Over the years, he has sponsored youth athletic teams and has recently become a participant in “Smiles For Kids”, an important program that provides dentistry for underprivileged children. In addition, he has volunteered as an instructor through UOP, overseeing dental students providing care in underserved communities.

Dr. DiMariano has a passion for motorcycles and cars. He travels several times a year to attend trade shows and racing events. He also developed an interest in theater while in dental school and now attends the Oregon Shakespeare Festival annually. He is very devoted to his family, which makes him delighted that his daughter has joined him in practice.

Dr. Shaina DiMariano
Like her father, Dr. DiMariano earned her D.D.S. from University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 2004, graduating with honors. She then joined her father’s practice and followed in his footsteps of continued studies in orthodontics. She has since been active in “Smiles For Kids” and “Adopt A Kid”, programs that provide dentistry to underprivileged children. Her value in education and giving back led her to teach first year dental students at UOP dental school for the 2005-2006 year, which she hopes to continue in the future.

She is currently a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Sacramento District Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, International Association for Orthodontics, and the Folsom Chamber of Commerce.

In her free time, Dr. DiMariano loves to dance and watch sports. In 2006, she choreographed for Loretto High School’s Broadway Bound dance concert. She has always loved the performing arts and enjoys attending the Oregon Shakespeare Festival with her father. Dr. DiMariano volunteers once a month to direct the Children's Liturgy at St. John's in Folsom.  She especially loves children and enjoys giving them a positive experience at the dental office.

Our Staff

KARRIE (Registered Dental Assistant)- Karrie is the first and last person you see at your appointments, which is wonderful because our patients love her. She has been with us for 20 years and has an unsurpassed commitment to the patients, always making sure their needs are being met. We are so grateful for her ability to listen to and care for patients while keeping up with us.

DEBBIE (Registered Dental Assistant)- Debbie has been with this practice from the start and it shows. She is proficient at the front desk as well as in the patient rooms with us. We’ve never seen anything quite like her versatility and ability to multi-task, all while greeting our patients who know her so well. We are thankful for her technical skills that make our jobs easier, along with her charisma that patients love so much.

STEPHANIE (Registered Dental Hygienist)- Stephanie has been practicing hygiene with us since 2001and it is evident that she loves it. She always seems to be close to her patients, keeping up with their latest news and family life. In addition, her gentle demeanor and excellent hygiene skills assure every patient a wonderful visit. We are lucky to have someone who is not only dedicated to her work, but also to our patients.

SHANNON (Registered Dental Assistant)- Shannon has been assisting us for 15 years. She has built strong relationships with our patients over the years with her great sense of humor and compassionate heart. Her years working with us have allowed her to know us like the back of her hand, making appointments smooth and relaxing for patients. We love the great dedication and pride she brings to her work everyday.

CYNTHIA (Dental Assistant)- Cynthia has been with us since June of 2008 and has been a wonderful addition to the staff from day one. She works hard to make our patients comfortable and happy. She has a bubbly personality that will put a smile on your face. She is a Sacramento native and graduate of Maric College. She enjoys working on Orthodontics best and in her free time enjoys spending time with her three young cousins and being on the road.
